The village caters well for ‘Foodies’ but for homewares & clothing you need to venture a little further a field to Buxton, Bakewell, Baslow & Hathersage has a few vintage homeware & gift shops well worth a look. Simply Pale has an eclectic mix of vintage & new English & French homewares all very reasonably priced Church Street,Baslow DE45 1RY. Don't overlook The Chicken Shed close by for some quirky one offs. But my all time favourite is Grey Goose Interiors, Main Road, Hathersage, Hope Valley, S32 1AA

As much as we highly recommend the fantastic local produce available in Tideswell & surrounding villages, we also understand that sometimes it's good to know where the big supermarkets are in an area unfamiliar to you, if you need to gather any handy essentials for your stay.
